1. Role of the marketplace
Vardine is an electronic marketplace for independent sellers of flowers, plants, gifts and related services. The seller is identified on the product page and order. Unless Vardine is expressly identified as the seller, the sale contract is between the buyer and the named seller. Vardine provides search, ordering, payment, support and other marketplace services.
2. Information before ordering
Before an order is confirmed, the seller, key product characteristics, price, delivery, any additional charges, total amount, payment methods, timing, cancellation rules and complaint process are shown. The buyer checks the cart, recipient details, address and delivery time. The “Order and pay” button confirms the payment obligation after the total has been calculated.
3. Order and payment
The product page invites the buyer to place an order. Acceptance is confirmed by a seller notification through Vardine. Before acceptance, an order may be declined if an item is unavailable, a clear technical error exists or fulfilment is impossible; amounts charged for a lawfully cancelled order are refunded. Payment is processed by a bank, acquirer or authorised payment organisation. Card details must not be sent to sellers in messages.
4. Natural differences and substitutions
Flowers are natural products, so minor differences in shade, bud shape or arrangement are acceptable when the stated size, price category, style, essential composition and quantity are preserved. Seasonal substitutions are disclosed before ordering. A material change to the main flower type requires the buyer’s consent. A previously disclosed minor substitution must be equivalent or higher in value and preserve the character of the arrangement.
5. Cancellation and refund
Buyer rights and rules for perishable flowers, live plants, custom bouquets and personalised gifts are described in the Cancellation and Refund Rules. After production begins, a change of mind may not entitle the buyer to a refund where the law permits that limitation. Rights relating to poor quality or material non-conformity remain.
6. Quality complaints
For a visible defect, the buyer is encouraged to contact support as soon as possible, preferably within two hours of delivery, with the order number and photos of the bouquet and defect. This suggested period helps review perishable goods quickly and does not waive mandatory statutory rights. Possible remedies include replacement, redelivery, correction of the defect, a price reduction or refund.
7. Delivery
The buyer provides an accurate address and a usable recipient phone number. If the recipient is absent, the courier attempts contact and waits a reasonable time. If delivery fails solely because of incorrect details, the recipient’s absence or failure to respond, redelivery may incur actual costs. A full refund for an already prepared perishable or custom item depends on the law and the extent of proper performance.
8. Accounts and reviews
Fraud, unauthorised payment instruments, fictitious orders, rating manipulation, threats and interference with the service are prohibited. Where a substantiated risk exists, Vardine may restrict an account while preserving rights connected with paid purchases. The “Verified purchase” label is used only for a review linked to an order. Spam, other people’s personal data, threats and unlawful content may be hidden; a negative opinion alone is not grounds for removal.
9. Search, advertising and promo codes
Search results may consider relevance, availability, fulfilment quality, processing and delivery speed, cancellations, ratings and other disclosed factors. Paid placement is labelled as advertising. Promo-code terms are shown when the code is issued; unless otherwise stated, a code cannot be exchanged for cash, may have an expiry date or first-order restriction, and may not be combined with other offers. A fraudulently obtained code may be cancelled without changing an already properly fulfilled order.
10. Data, liability and disputes
Recipient data is shared with the seller and delivery provider only to fulfil the order. The buyer must have a lawful basis to provide it. The seller is responsible for the goods; Vardine is responsible for its own actions within the limits of mandatory law. Amendments apply to future transactions. Complaints may be submitted through Vardine support; rights under the laws of the Republic of Armenia and access to courts remain.
